DC Fans Start Petition To Shut Down Rotten Tomatoes

Died hard DC fans believe the popular and influential review aggregate site Rotten Tomatoes is unfairly harsh towards films in the DC Extended Universe.

With DC Entertainment having a busier year than most, IE; they released more than one film, they’re also having a more tumultuous one with lackluster reviews and box office returns.

March’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was much-hyped and highly anticipated, yet still released to less-than-stellar financial and critical results.

And now with the soon to be released Suicide Squad already receiving some negative reviews on Rotten Tomatoes (it’s currently at 35% three days before it’s official release), one DC fan has had enough.

Abdullah Coldwater from Egypt, started this petition earlier today because he feels: “Critics always give The DC Extended Universe movies unjust Bad Reviews.”

While this petition clearly shows Abdullah doesn’t understand how Rotten Tomatoes even works, or film criticism for that matter, you have to admire his passion.

Too bad it won’t amount to much; now matter how many upset DC fanboys sign it isn’t going to shut down the biggest film aggregate site in the world.

Suicide Squad releases on August 5, 2016.
